Towers
Most schools, nurseries and
children’s centres looking for a
new playground find that they
would like some sort of play
tower at the heart of their space.
We design and build many
different flavours of play tower;
in fact each project gets its own
unique design. We establish the
needs of the school, the ages and
abilities of the pupils
and the proposals of
any interested parties
and then take inspiration from the school
buildings and the surrounding topography to
generate a multi-function structure with a wide
variety of play applications.
Ladders, stairs, slides, bridges and ramps may
be used to connect the structure into the other
playground features and provide a variety of
pathways to navigate through it. Windows and
ways of looking also play a vital part in the
design process. Other features commonly
added include counters, music,
ball runs and texture mazes.
